Soft Landing Yoga & Meditation Retreat

  • Haven Havelland Dorfstraße 33 4715 Milower Land Germany (map)

Step away from everyday life and take a deep breath at our nourishing autumn retreat set at the beautiful Haven Havelland, just an hour and a half from Berlin. Tucked into the Havelland countryside, this weekend is an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with what really matters.

As the seasons turn and nature settles into quiet, this is your moment to pause, reflect, and come back home to yourself. Through dynamic Vinyasa flows, gentle Yin practice, meditation, breathwork, and restorative sound baths, you'll be guided to release what no longer serves you and realign with your own inner rhythm.

Open to all levels, with room for both movement and deep rest. Come to breathe, soften, and listen - and leave with renewed clarity, balance, and connection to yourself and the world around you.

The programm

The retreat begins on Thursday, October 21st, with a gentle evening yoga session around 5:30 pm (arrival from 3:00 pm), and wraps up on Sunday, October 24th, after brunch, around 2:00 pm.

Each day opens in stillness - guided meditation and conscious breathwork to wake the body and settle the mind. After a short break for tea, a smoothie, or journaling, we move into dynamic Vinyasa sequences that build strength, balance and vitality. Every practice is shaped with care and intention, letting energy move freely and helping you return to a natural state of ease and clarity.

After practice, we gather for a nourishing brunch and time together before the afternoon slows down - restorative movement, deep rest, and sound healing to soothe the nervous system and integrate the day.

Practices included over the weekend:

  • 1 × 90-min gentle flow, meditation & sound bath (arrival evening)

  • 3 × 90-min dynamic morning Vinyasa sessions

  • 3 × 30-min morning breathwork & meditation practices

  • 2 × 90-min afternoon sessions including gentle flow, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra & sound bath

In the dynamic Vinyasa sessions, we explore different areas of the body and their related energy centers, along with the life themes they reflect. Mindful movement deepens the connection between body and mind, with each sequence building step by step into a practice that's inclusive and inspiring at every level.

Afternoons slow into the healing stillness of Yin Yoga, gently releasing tension held in deeper layers of the body. These sessions are rounded out by restorative practices like guided Yoga Nidra and calming slow flows that invite surrender and ease.

We close the day immersed in the soothing sound of crystal bowls and mantra chanting, easing into deep relaxation and inner quiet.

All classes are offered in English, unless every participant speaks German.

The Place

Haven is a retreat guesthouse built for mindfulness, rest, and connection, set in the wild beauty of the West Havelland Nature Park, 90 minutes from Berlin - the perfect place to slow down, recharge, and spend real time in nature.

At its heart is a beautifully restored 1920s dance hall, an inspiring space for yoga, meditation and sound baths, fully equipped with mats, bolsters, cushions, blankets and straps. A garden sauna and cozy terrace offer more room to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings.

Outside, gardens and open space invite reflection, gentle movement, or quiet time alone. A short walk brings you to the Havel River, where you can pause by the water, swim, or simply take in the shifting beauty of the season.

The Accommodation

Haven offers warm, inviting spaces designed for rest, connection and ease. The guesthouse holds up to 16 guests across seven charming ensuite bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished for a calm, welcoming stay. Every room includes cozy beds, fresh linens, and a private bathroom.

The house blends historic character with modern comfort - from the restored 1920s dance hall to the peaceful garden terraces. Shared living spaces, including a lounge with a sofa island and a log fire, invite gathering and quiet moments alike. Every detail is designed to make your stay effortless: all you need to do is arrive, settle in, and let the retreat carry you.

The Food

Food is a central part of the experience here - freshly prepared, nourishing, and full of flavor. Each day brings two delicious vegetarian and vegan meals: a wholesome brunch after morning practice and a warm, satisfying dinner in the evening. Before the morning flow, there's always a snack or smoothie for anyone who wants to fuel up beforehand. Throughout the day, tea, coffee, fruit, and small snacks keep you nourished.

Meals are made with love, supporting your practice with vibrant, grounding energy. Mealtimes become moments of connection - a chance to slow down, savor, and enjoy the simple pleasure of eating together.

We're happy to accommodate dietary preferences or allergies - just let us know when you sign up.
